And we're back 2 flashbacks

As predicted, Mom reminiscing 2 Connie abt young Mike making her tired has led 2 flashbacks again. From the 1979-80 era. 2day's is supposta B abt knocking on Mom and Dad's bedroom door, crashing it open, and then saying, "U SAID 2 knock 1st," but U know what? Who cares? I'm not doing these flashbacks! >:-(

Duncan took all of his xxams last wk like he was supposed 2, but then he got all nervous an' scared abt how he did, and he ran off 2 TO 2 B a squeegie boy again. Eva and I R going out there 2 try & find him. Jeremy's away this week @ sum kinda scout thing he's doing 4 community-svc credits.

Great. Another week of your mother going mental because she's too stupid to anticipate how children will behave in a specific setting. My Eyes Glazeth Over.

I had been going crazy all last week, with your mom talking to Connie like that. I was thinking when will they do gratuitous reminiscing? I was expecting it a day early (yesterday), but instead we get your dad enjoying himself a bit too much in those massage-o-matic chairs.

As far as your mom saying she's through raising children, I'll bet if you moved in permanently with Jeremy, she wouldn't notice. She seems to be too caught up in her reminiscing that she's pretty much forgotten she has a kid still living with her.

A friend of mine did something similar. Her home life wasn't exactly up to par, so she moved out at 16 or 17. She lived with a couple of friends and then joined the US Army and lived on her own. She got out, went to Job Corps, and didn't move back home until 2001. She married in 2007, but not to me. We had known each other since 4th grade, and my parents thought we would have gotten married, like how Mike and Liz think you will end up marrying Gerald Delaney-Forsythe. My friend and I knew that would never happen. Even five years before you said you would never marry Ger, we had said WE WILL NOT BE MARRYING EACH OTHER!

My parents don't bring it up anymore, but if they try to, I'd let them know it wouldn't have worked out. My mom and biological dad pulled a Patterson, and ended up divorcing three to five years later.
